To clarify...
I was referring to using the mouse to R-Click the Scroll bar in the Tree Pane and from there have a Collapse All menu choice to collapse all the tree branches.

In the right-click menu of each tree node you find the command Expansion / Fully Collapse (if enabled under Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Context Menus | Folder Tree...).
Much cooler however is to simply press the Numpad Divide key.
