the native preview handler does not foll the whole preview area, only when I click and move the border.
I'm working with a 4K monitor.

What do you mean with native preview handler ?
There is no XY preview handler for the XLSX format.
So you have some Office version installed or any other preview handler.

Hi and sorry for my late response.
I use Microsoft Office 2016 and it's preview handler.
With 'border' I mean between the list and the preview window. So if I change the size of the preview area, it scales right.

Is one pixel of border movement enough to achieve this?

When the preview is shown, run this script line through the address bar and post the returns:

Can scroll the shortened preview pane.
Any click on the previewed document will fill the preview pane.
Can still scroll the filled preview pane.

Did you already try v26.60.0302?

Noticed:
1) Dark mode honored in the actual preview.
2) Fills the entire pane.

I don't see V26.60.302 available anywhere.

So this thread was abandoned after I added experimental code to find out what was going on. Great, thanks for nothing.

Not abandoned. Just busy and had pointed out that it works on Win11 with Newer Office.

And it wasn't clear you wanted us to try the BETA code.

I just did (no-install version 26.60.0313) and the Preview pane, when on the bottom, fills the pane.
