:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

xyplorer looses "Always on Top" after minimizing the window

Post by thomaz »

Hello,

xyplorer looses "Always on Top" after minimizing the window.
I set "Always on top" with "4t tray minimizer" because i dont find any "native" option for this ultra "IMPORTANT" thing in xyplorer, which started in 1999.
In the moment i minimize the xyplorer window, "Always on top" gets disabled again.

This doesnt happen with any other Application and 4t tray minimizer.

So when do we see an official, reliable "always on top" feature inside xyplorer?
I mean its 2024, not 1999 :P

Always On Top is totally old school and perfectly useless in a file manager. The feature has been removed in v5.00.0035 - 2006-07-04.

Conformed.
It also happens with other tools which set "Always on top".
It doesn't happen when other file managers are set to be on top.
So XY does something special.
Windows 11 Home, Version 25H2 (OS Build 26200.9278)
Portable x64 XYplorer (Actual version, including betas)
Display settings 1920 x 1080 Scale 100%
Everything 1.5.0.1423b (x64), Everything Toolbar 3.2, Listary Pro 7.0.0.9 beta
