How to create a Stream Deck Shortcut that opens a Folder in XYPlorer?

Post by Lusayalumino »

I realize this isn't an XYPlorer question, it's a Stream Deck question (which I posted here: https://www.reddit.com/r/elgato/comment ... folder_in/)... But there's a lot of smart people on this forum, and I'm more likely to get a solution here.

I'm trying to create a Stream Deck shortcut to open a directory in XYPlorer.

Even if I create a working Windows desktop shortcut, and then open that shortcut with Stream Deck, it is always converted into a shortcut, which opens only the app (without opening the directory).

ORIGINAL WORKING DESKTOP SHORTCUT:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\XYplorer\XYplorer.exe" "C:\Users\admin\Videos\PROFESSIONAL\HealthMeans Neuro-Metabolic Auto Immunity Summit\videos"

STREAM DECK CONVERTS TO:
C:\Program Files (x86)\XYplorer\XYplorer.exe

I'd really appreciate help on this.

Thanks for mentioning XY on reddit! :appl:

(Sorry, can't help with your question.)

It's not the first time I've posted about XY in other forums... XY has literally changed my life... I'm your #1 evangelist. :titter:

I ended up just creating batch file shortcuts, then linked them to Stream Deck; here's the contents of the .bat:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\XYplorer\XYplorer.exe" "C:\Users\admin\Videos\PROFESSIONAL\HealthMeans Neuro-Metabolic Auto Immunity Summit\videos"
