XYplorer v25.00.0200
I get the same behaviour on any EXE file on two different PCs, one running Win10Pro 22H2 and the other Win7Pro64b SP1
I wanted to put a temporary shortcut on the desktop to:
c:\windows\system32\sndrec32.exe
-so I used XYplorer to go to the system32 directory, find sndrec32.exe, right click, drag to desktop, Create Shortcuts Here.
What I get is a shortcut with these properties:
TARGET [ c:\Windows\Sysnative\sndrec32.exe ]
START IN [ C:\Windows\Sysnative ]
--which, of course, does not work.
This is a very fundamental part of the msWindows File Explorer, so I would expect it to work on XYplorer.

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Re: Create shortcuts here fails
I notice you're using a version that's quite old - released last October. Update to the latest version and see if that fixes the issue.k

Re: Create shortcuts here fails
Drag it to Desktop within XYplorer and it will work.
