Drag and Drop to Another Application

Every time I drag and drop to another program on the task bar, XYPlorer will crash.
When I restart XYPlorer, immediately do the drag and drop, it works.

You could try toggling this,

Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | Drag and Drop | Extended compatibility for clipboard and drag and drop

Need more info: what other program, what kind of files, which locations, which XY version, which Windows version ... talk a little about the context, the frequency, the patterns.
