Drives not updated after mappings updated

I sometimes run a batch file to map some network drives. XY has stopped detecting the availability of those drives and does not update the toolbar accordingly.
The screenshot shows how T, U and W are missing.

And you run your batch file under the same user account as XY ?
Drive mappings are account specific.

Those look more like CTB's, normal drive group buttons have icons on them, are you sure its a dynamic group btn/s you are using? (I'm not)

@Horst: yes, it's all in the same session under the same accnt.
@jupe: I'm using the "AllDrives" group and that has been dyamic in the past.

I'm sorry - it's embarrassing - but it started earlier: I went back and checked the versions on the freezer - and 24.90.0100 was the last where it worked!

Hmm, this will by difficult.

I made some tests here (win 8.1) with subst and net use and it works as fine as ever.

FWIW, I am doing net use {path} {pwd} /user:{domain}\{user}.

Do you get the same issue with a simple net use like:

XY address bar: !net use q: "\\VEGA\Users\Donald\Google Drive"

That's a relative fresh Insider build.
Not sure if it makes sense to debug.

That's effective immediately!

So I tried to add that cmd to a script which is executed in the same way as the one which has no effect - and that also worked! The only difference is that this one access machines on the VPN the NET USE has credentials...

If we give up the idea of "fixing" XY, is there perhaps a way I could force XY to refresh from my mapping script?

I have not given up on the idea of fixing it. I just need to find out what's causing the problem.

Your only problem is that the toolbar is not updated, right?
