To Clipboard - Was It Removed?
To Clipboard - Was It Removed?
When right-clicking on a group of files in XYPlorer, I often used the "To Clipboard" command to copy the item names. The To Clipboard menu item included a sub-menu that provided specific options - e.g.: full path, file name only, etc. I don't see this anymore. Was it removed in a recent update? If so, please consider this my vote to put it back in. The only thing I see in the right-click menu is "Copy Path" This may be useful in some situations, but it is nowhere near as useful as the old function as it requires much more work if all you want is the file names of the selected items. TIA for any help/consideration.

Re: To Clipboard - Was It Removed?
Thanks again!
I have no idea how it got turned off and I never bothered to check the configuration for a possible solution. To be honest, the massive amount of configuration options is a bit intimidating and I sometimes find myself avoiding having to wade thru them to find settings/solutions, etc. Very happy to have "To Clipboard" back - I use it all the time.

Re: To Clipboard - Was It Removed?
What about a "To Clipboard" toolbar button that just pops this menu? It would be faster than the context menu.

Re: To Clipboard - Was It Removed?
Basically a good idea, but button bar space is more limited than context menu entries.
For me, the best way is to use a hotkey for such functions.

Re: To Clipboard - Was It Removed?
True. But sometimes you want to see the options. And once a button key exists, it's very easy to add it to the hamburger or catalog.

Oh, it already exists! "Copy Path/Name", right-click opens the "To Clipboard" menu. Perfect.
