1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

At least one of these should be ticked:
Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | Use 64-bit preview handlers for preview
Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | Fall back to preview handlers of the other bitness

Now I see the (unformatted and incomplete) text. Tried both checkboxes (separate and combined), same effect).

So what is the difference between those that work and those that do not?

Trying to find a working one, I see three differences now:

I think I was mistaken as I am recently trying to use XYplorer for all rasks. So maybe the shown previews were in Explorer and Copernic.

Having said that, with both checkboxes set (also tested with one, no dififference) some PDF's still say Cannot preview.

The question remains: what is the difference between those that work and those that do not?

To be fair, I don't think either works... But they DO act different. PDF's in the ZIP

Both work fine here (using PDF-XChange, not Adobe). Cannot see any difference.

Do you get thumbnails for these files?

Never use thumbnails, but just downloaded PDX-Viewer, Works.

Guess I'll cancel the Adobe subscription.

Thanks veryt much!
