:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

:info: When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Search while in Paper or Virtual Folder

Post by jupe »

When a search is performed of another location, while the active tab is a Virtual Folder (or Paper Folder), the info bar still reports that you are located in a VFO, subsequently other functions that are performed while in this state are affected, eg if you try and rename XY thinks that all the files don't exist, and it shows relative paths in the preview window, but they are relative to the previous VFO root. Below is a repro for fresh if it helps:

Code: Select all

  goto "vi:<xy>";
  goto "<xydata>?/lpd=1 /l=5 /md=2 /f";
  sel f; focus;
  rename , "*", p;
