Link Shell Extension context menu broken (unable to create symlinks)

I've used Link Shell Extension extensively for years as an easy way to create SymLinks from Explorer, Clover etc. without any issues but unfortunately it's broken with XYplorer.

Right-clicking on any file/folder should give an option for "Pick Link Source", which changes to a "Drop Here..." sub menu with different options after a selection has been made.
In XYplorer the "Drop Here..." entry remains at all times even when no source has been selected, which makes picking a source impossible, forcing me to use Explorer.
