:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

[Solved] Dual Pane Refresh with Junctions ?

Post by GreetingsFromPoland »

hi! i am using dual panes and recently starting using junctions. i made these junctions using

Code: Select all

mklink /J Link Target
and they are functioning just fine.

if i open the "source" folder (the one w/the junction icon on it) in the top pane and the "destination" folder in the bottom pane, i can see files in both (as expected). however, if i delete from the top, the bottom pane doesn't auto-refresh. i have to click inside the bottom pane and press F5.

if i use non-junction folders and perform the same test, the panes are refreshed properly. just isn't happening on my junction folders. the junctions are on local drives. the "source" folder is on C (SSD) and the "destination" folder is on D (platter).

UPDATE this is on Windows 10 22H2.

Works fine here in both panes, I delete in one and the other is auto-refreshed. :? I'll have to check with Win10 later...
