:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

SC dialog window captions not displaying UTF properly

Post by jupe »

I am not sure if this is a known issue or not, but I noticed that the SC commands inputselect and text (possibly others) don't seem to support UTF as the window caption, eg

$utf = "日本人"; text 3:=$utf; inputselect(7:=$utf);

The main XY window seems capable of displaying it properly, as do the shell dialogs via inputfile etc, so I don't think it is because of my OS CP.

I could fix it for inputselect but not for text (bloody mystery).
