Not sure if this is a bug or part of a feature I am unaware of.


Enter a path such as: \\servername\share with a space before the '\\' and receive message: Couldn't find location c:\program files\xyplorer\\servername\share

The 'Couldn't find location' part of the message seems fine to me but the path is a bit weird?

update: it doesn't have to be a '\\' c:\, e:\, etc reproduce the same.

also if I enter a space or a '~' into the address bar by itself and hit enter I am taken to the xyplorer installation folder.

i noticed this a while ago, but i thought it was a feature.
looks like if you try to enter an invalid path in the ab, xy will look for that path relative to xy's app path.

ex: try 'thumbnails' and you'll go to xy's thumbs folder.
an invalid char will take you to xy's folder.

i always use this 'feature' to quickly access xy's folder when updating.

Ah yes, trimming any leading spaces should not disturb any of XY's many "location" syntaxes as far as I see, so I will do that...
