Since, I guess, some three or four XY updates (and I tend to refer to updates, as I did not change any settings) a strange and a bit annoying behaviour there is. Or is it maybe a Windows thing??
Minimising XY to the taskbar (no matter if via WIN shortcut or clicking the XY_window_frame-minimise_dash) normally sends the open window "away" to the taskbar. And the taskbar-icon shows the fact of an open and miminised application through a little dot under the mentioned icon.
In such a case I am able to restore the application to its earlier position and size with ALT+Tab.
OR, with a click on this icon on the taskbar the application is restored.
And unfortunately there are times, when mimimising XY, the XY-window is sent away, but no longer recognisable as an active/running program.
There is no little dot under the icon in the taskbar (as if there is nothing active/running). And there is no XY-window visible when using ALT-Tab to switch program focus! Although XY is still active/running, visible in task-manager.
Nevertheless, when clicking the XY-icon in the taskbar, the application restores to its earlier place on the desktop (a restore, not a restart).
AND, sometimes in such cases, XY shows a little elongated icon at the lower part of the screen next to the taskbar. Clicking this one also restores the XY-window.
I did not find a way to reproduce this behaviour in a controlled way.
As I said, annoying, this erratic behaviour; that I cannot simply use ALT-Tab and need to grab and act with the mouse.
I would not expect a settings issue here, because 'setting' should do the same all over, but in my case it is unpredictable (for me) if XY will be visible or not through ALT+Tab. Or is it a bug, or a feature?
I'd appreciate feedback.
Thank you!
