We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Session loss saved (Perdita sessione salvata).
When you disable save tab sets on session close, it still saves the saved tab sets when you close the session. In this way I lose the last set of cards saved intentionally.
ex.:
Card set: 1
cards:
- Papers
- Music.
Save Card Set: "1"
Off, save tab set on close.
I open other tabs.
- Excel files
- Word files
Close tab
- Papers.
I close XYplorer.
I reopen XYplorer.
Card Set 1 is:
Music
Excel files
Word files
no longer: Tab set "1" saved
- Papers
- Music
Card Set "1": Lost!!!
cards:
- Papers
- Music

Quando disattivi salva set di schede alla chiusura della sessione, quando viene chiusa, salva comunque il set di schede salvate. In questo modo perdo l'ultimo di set di schede salvato volutamente.
es.:
Set di schede: 1
schede:
- Documenti
- Musica.
Salva Set di schede: "1"
Disattivo, salva alla chiusura set di schede.
Apro delle altre schede.
- File Excel
- File Word
Chiudo scheda
- Documenti.
Chiudo XYplorer.
Riapro XYplorer.
Il Set di schede 1 risulta:
Musica
File Excel
File Word
non è più: Set di schede "1" salvato
- Documenti
- Musica
Set di schede "1": perso!!!

Try to disable save Tabs as well.

"Auto save tabsets on change" maybe?

Il set di schede viene comunque sovrascritto.
The card set is still overwritten.

I'm not sure I understand the problem. I don't use tabsets myself so I have no real experience. But you tabset users out there: Is something not working as it should?

Re: Session loss saved (Perdita sessione salvata).
Just created a new tabset, added a few tabs and saved it.
Switched to other tabsets and back to the new one.
Closed XY and on restart the new tabset still looked exactly the same.
Switched back and forth a few more times w/o a problem.
From my POV all works as expected.

>>>Switched to other tabsets and back to the new one.<<<
You don't have to switch to the newly created Tab set. That's exactly the problem. When you close the modified tabs the saved Tab SET is lost.
>>>Passato ad altri tabset e di nuovo a quello nuovo.<<<
Non devi passare al nuovo Tab set creato. Proprio quello è il problema. Quando chiudi le schede modificate il Tab SET salvato viene perso.

Cubic Explorer Works perfectly, remember tabs. It also allows the display of keys for recalling cards and for saving.
It also allows you to select multiple filters simultaneously. It also has very attractive graphics. Of course it doesn't have all the functions of XYplorer!!!

Re: Session loss saved (Perdita sessione salvata).
Screenshot of other apps that work the way you want usually don't help to solve your problems with XY.
When you load a tabset its tabs are shown as they were last saved but once you start adding/removing tabs this changes and the current state of your visible tabs is saved on exit (I assume) so your pane looks the same after a restart.
If you want to get the saved state of your tabset back you need to revert it back to its saved state (see below #857) or switch to another tabset and back to the one you want or load it via a script on startup (if it is always the same one you want. The setting below only affects the MRU list for tabsets.

Re: Session loss saved (Perdita sessione salvata).
Salvo Set "1"
Salvo Set "1.1"
1 e 1.1 sono =
ricarico 1
se volglio 1 originale
apro 1.1
Salvo su 1
Maybe I didn't explain myself clearly.
Mine is an error report from XYPlorer.
It has a bug.
The card set in use in XYplorer should not be the saved one. There should be a temporary one of the application's own.
The reset you mention doesn't work. The moment you exit, close the application, session, tab set is lost.
What I do eg:
Except Set "1"
Salvo Set "1.1"
1 and 1.1 are =
reload 1
if i want 1 original
I open 1.1
Except on 1

Re: Session loss saved (Perdita sessione salvata).
It seems like there is no way (apart from "Exit without Saving") to achieve this: Whatever I do with my current tabs, the next session should start with exactly the same tabs as the last session.
1) Is that true?
2) Shouldn't there be a way to achieve this?
3) If yes, how should that way look like? What kind of setting, and where? (Just to get some input. Otherwise I decide for myself.
)
PS: My suggestion would be to add a setting [ ] Save tab changes to the section Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | Save Settings, default is ticked. Only when ticked then changes in tabs (new tabs, removed tabs, changed order, current tab, and all per-tab properties) are saved and remembered across sessions. Otherwise you always start with the same tabs, and as a consequence also the same startup path. I think this could be useful for a quite bunch of users.
