Dragging file into Details view

I have many directories with hundreds of files.
Is there a setting where, when I drop a file into a directory in Details View, the scrolling directory will automatically alphabetically scroll to the correct spot where the new file is copied to?
Right now, I have to manually scroll to find the copied file to ensure it got copied correctly and was properly named so it sorts into the correct location.

This should (and does) work out of the box. From where are you dragging?
