:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

OS info out of date for Windows 10 in Various Information

Post by elqasar2 »

Help, Various Information shows:
OS: Windows 10 Professional, 64-bit, Release 2009, Build 19044.1889 (10.0), .NET v4.8.04084

Actual release is 21H2

From the Windows 10 About dialog: Version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1889)

Information about Windows 10 releases can be found here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/window ... nformation

There never was a version 2009. There was a version 2004 which was followed by version 20H2. Then came 21H1 and then came 21H2.

Although I think this is nitpicking, yeah the ReleaseId is now deprecated, if using reg queries not api, DisplayVersion should be preferred if it exists (undoc'd though) in newer releases.

Seems like Microsoft has taken something that should be very simple to query and made it very complicated.
