EFS icon overlays not showing in list
I noticed that the EFS padlock icon overlay isn't being shown in the list, in the below screenshot I have indicated where it does show correctly, the windows properties dialog and the XY statusbar (info panel ok too). Not sure if it will help resolve this but a similar issue with icon caching was resolved here viewtopic.php?p=185618#p185618

Re: EFS icon overlays not showing in list
Do these files have a file attribute by which I can identify them? Maybe "E" for encrypted?
Well, assuming this is the case it will be fixed in the next beta.

Re: EFS icon overlays not showing in list
I just tested .0028, and it works in fresh, but if you toggle the overlays setting, it stops working, subsequently opening and closing (ok btn) the CFI dialog returns the overlay though.

Re: EFS icon overlays not showing in list
Might work better in next beta. (I'm just writing air code since I don't have those overlays here)

Re: EFS icon overlays not showing in list
Further testing revealed that folders don't display the overlay.

Didn't know folders could have that attribute. Next beta.

Re: EFS icon overlays not showing in list
Everything looks to be working now in .0101+, only thing is that the overlay doesn't display for both folders/files when CFI is used, not sure if it helps but FYI in the topic I linked in the OP a similar thing happened and you resolved it. BTW if you don't want to spend anymore time on this, it doesn't affect me since I rarely use EFS personally, I am just mentioning it as feedback.

I saw that coming.
Air-fixed again. Next beta. Hope it works.

Re: EFS icon overlays not showing in list
In .0208 everything now shows the overlay correctly, except CFI folders, which show the overlay but its on the default shell folder icon, not a CFI folder, (this behavior is also the same with the +C blue arrows, which also don't show the CFI folder icon) you may want to leave it like this though, I'm not sure.

Re: EFS icon overlays not showing in list
I'm sure there is a way to do it (extract the isolated overlay and draw it over any icon), but currently I have no time to find that way.

Re: EFS icon overlays not showing in list
Sorry to bring this up again
, but I have noticed an issue, I have run into a situation where I have a +C file (blue arrow) that I have a CFI set for but it actually shows the +E EFS overlay on the file, however if I disable CFI I get the correct +C overlay shown. This screenshot might explain it easier, the correct overlay (CFI in XY list) is shown in the properties dialog:
I hate to say it, but if you think this might be a pain to fix it might be easier to just go back to being without the EFS overlay, how it was before any of the changes. (I don't want to lose blue arrows though)

Re: EFS icon overlays not showing in list
No problem. I'll try again (next beta).
Say, is it possible that a file has both attributes, and if yes, which overlay is shown in Explorer?
