Searching for files with a choice of content

How do you/can you search files looking for a choice of content?

I want to be able to find files that contain either FBloggs or the IP address 10.0.1.1 or the machine name MyPC.

You cannot. Boolean operations are not supported in content search at the moment.

depending on the filetype, notepad++ can search files/directories for strings etc. That may work.

Of course! I hadn't thought of that...it's not exactly what I'm after, but it'll do for now.
