[FIXED] New color filter bug as of v23.10.0018

See the order of my color filters, and note I do not have "Apply text colors to the Name column only" checked.

As of version 23.10.0018, Color Filters based on age (filters #5-11), are now applying color only to the Name, the other columns are uncolored.
If the date filters are not matched, then the Directory filter colorizes the entire line.


This worked correctly prior to 23.10.0018 (see the lower portion of the screenshot below).

Filters with background colors should always only be applied to the Name column. Where did this text color prior to v23.10.0018 come from? Where is it defined?

I'm not referring to background color, I am speaking of foreground color. Up until v23.10.0017, the filter colors were correctly applied to the foreground for all columns, see the bottom portion of my screenshot. This stopped working correctly with version 23.10.0018, now only the Name column is colored, despite not checking the option that says Name column only.

Post the definition of that color filter with all color info (take it from Tools | List Management | Color Filters...).

I did, in the first screenshot, but here it is again by itself:

The bottom portion of the first screenshot illustrates that "ageM: < 7 d|b //Modified within the last week" colored the entire column, it has worked this way for as long as I have been using color filters (years).

I rolled back versions until I got to 23.10.0017 then it started working again, it stopped working with version 23.10.0018

I changed nothing else but rolled back until I got to 23.10.0017 then the entire lines started coloring correctly again.

Well, as I said above: Filters with background colors should always only be applied to the Name column.

If that was different then it was a bug that's fixed now.

But the FOREGROUND color was working before, now as of 23.10.0018 it's broken. See the screenshot in the OP

Also, why then have the option "Apply text colors to name column only" if it is supposed to work only for the name column? It was working for all columns before, when this option is deselected.

maybe a different question: What changed in 23.10.0018 to cause the full row colors to no longer work, and can that be made an option or Tweak?

It's the b-switch that makes all the difference here. Should be fixed in next beta. No mention in change log, too hard to explain.
