New Folder > Merge = Folder Not Select

New Folder > Merge = Folder Not Select

If you create a folder and the folder exists and you select merge upon finishing of the event that folder is not selected. I would think just like creating a new folder it would be selected as the intent is to then preform some action thereupon.
