1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

XY64ctxmenu.exe not response

Post by js0huang »

While Right click on white space or Right click on folder in XYplorer, the XY64ctxmenu.exe always pop up saying "Could not close the previous instance of this script".
What may be wrong?

Some of my configurations:
CEA_ListRightClickOnWhite=2
CEA_ListRightClickOnWhite_Script=""

System info: windows 11 Home x64
XYplorer version: 23.00

Probably a Windows 11 bug.

Do you really need the 64-bit context menu? Otherwise simply untick this:
Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | Show the 64-bit context menu

If I follow your steps, still the same error.
Some of my software context menu is in 64 bit , so in my case I need it.

If this is windows 11 bug ,any workarounds?

Thanks.

That's not possible. That error can only come with the 64-bit menu.
