I was running v14.80.xx. Any time I attempt to open a non-EXE file; I get the file association dialog from Windows asking what program to open with; images are the most common thing. Even if I tick the box that says 'always use this app to open blah blah'... This is really annoying and I didn't seem to find a cure for it. It does not do this in Windows explorer. I ponied up the 60 bucks for the upgrade lifetime license since I was running such an old version, I'm now running the most current...that didn't cure it either.....
Another weird quirk with Server 2012 R2, the mouse <BACK> and <FORWARD> buttons don't work....but work everywhere else....but I don't have the file association issue. Any fixes/tricks to remedy these or did I just waste $60?!

Any ideas about the back/forward mouse buttons in S2K12 R2 (win 8.1 interface)? Mouse is a logitech MX1000, not that it matters....it does it with any mouse in this OS.

I got back on the S2K12 system and realized I forgot to update the key, so when I installed and ran it the first time it saw the old key and reverted back to the elderly version I was using. Updated key, reinstalled, and shazam...the mouse back/forward thing is fixed.Fairladyz wrote: ↑17 Mar 2022 19:06 This post cured it. Thanks for the timely reply.
