Duplicate "Track..." context menu?!

Post by free »

Odd issue in WinME, don't recall noticing it before.
"Track..." menu appeared twice in latest 0054.

The probable cause is that 'file/folder' concept is different there.

I digged in the registry and there were no duplicates there, still tracker appears twice on folders, but once on special folders such as control panel, network places etc.

Looks like "Folder" is general term to include all.
After testing, if removed:
HKCR\Directory\shell\Track... and HKCR\Drive\shell\Track...
But left the ..\Folder\shell\Track...
context menu is fine for all locations, drives, folders, special folders, etc

Wow, interesting! Thanks for your correct analysis. I just fixed it and uploaded a new version. Hope it works.
(Uncheck and recheck the checkbox in Configuration/General to remove double entries if you got them.)
