:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

.EXEs don't seem to launch

Post by MBaas »

I often navigate to executables with XY and then run them. Lately I've noticed that the .exes didn't start and blamed the developers of those .exes - until I found out that they do start from the command prompt (and in the past they would start from XY). So I wonder if this is perhaps a known problem - or if I am the only user struggling with this, if is worth finding (and sending) such a troublesome .exe? Or maybe I missed an important migration notice and need to take action and change config?

May be the exe files need the working directory set to the same place
and this is not given under certain circumstances ?
