Can't move by dragging

Hi, embarrassed to admit, but when I hold Shift to drag a file between panes, it still copies instead of moves. I must have inadvertently made a configuration change, but can't figure out where. Can someone set me straight, please?

Well the settings are here:

Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | Drag and Drop

but I am not sure what combination results in what you describe, I didn't think it was possible.

Hello and thanks. And you are right, it does not seem possible, and it definitely was not a XYplorer problem. Gd..dmn Windows 10 were acting up. Since I hardly ever use windows File Explorer, I never noticed that the same was happening there. A re-boot just fixed the problem. Sorry to clutter the board with stuff that does not belong here ...
