slow startup due to "add folders"

Hi,

i use XYplorer for a while now and i´m very confident with the appclication, best explorer i ever had. but now i have again an issue with the startup. its very slow, upto 20sek. the last one was 11sec.



the issue is the progress of "adding folders" of my devices.

every folder needs only some ms to load, but in summary its more than 10sek. the folders are from all data devices. Can you help me please ?

Does unticking
Configuration | General | Tree and List | Tree | [ ] Check existence of subfolders in tree

and saving your settings + restart XY help?

hi, thanks for the fast reply.

i helps a kind of, now it was around 3sec, but still a lot of "add folders" in the log file.

i realised, that only when i open XYplorer the first time, after i booted my computer, it lasts that long. when i close it and open it again i have no "add folders" in the log. But after a restart, i have the issue again.

The log lists only processes that take longer than 10 msec. Hard to say why your folders are so slow sometimes.
