I'm not really wishing this right now, but trying to get some discussion on it first.
It's fantastic dragging a file to the Catalog automatically expands the categories that you hover over.
And even better that they automatically collapse if you move to another one or change your mind.
But what I'd like to see is for it to also automatically collapse a category if I drop the item(s) on a Category Item.
The issue is I have a category that contains items for a number of external tools which I like to keep collapsed. When I need to use the tools, I drag the items to the category, it auto-expands, and I drop them on the tool. I'd like for the category to auto-collapse at this point and save me from having to come back to XY and collapse it myself.
I realize this may break standard behavior for trees, so perhaps it could be controlled by a Category option ("Auto-Collapse After Drop?") which could default to "No" to leave the default behavior unchanged.
Thoughts?
Auto-Collapse Catalog Category after Drop?

Am I the only one that likes to keep most of my categories closed at all times?
