Having problem when opening photo in XYplorer.

I meet a problem when using XYplorer. Each time I open a photo in XYplorer, it always asks me to confirm the app to use although I tick "Always use this app to open photo files". Please guide me to solve this error.

I don't want custom file associations. I want by default XYPlorer to simply open files with the system wide associations that windows has already setup just like occur when I try to open the same file in Windows Explorer - the way it always used to.

There is something wrong with my configuration, I can't believe what I'm experiencing is meant to be the default way of working. And yet I never actively changed a configuration setting recently inside of XYplorer.

It never used to do this until maybe a recent XYplorer or Windows update.

All extention of photos such as *Jpg, *Jpeg, *.Png,...

1) I assume when you select such a file and then open the Open With menu in XYplorer (File | Open with... (Ctrl+Alt+Enter)), you see something like this (in your language):

2) What happens in File Explorer?

Attached is what I get, assuming portable file associations is enabled. In windows explorer it just works, going to the default program I selected.

In file Explorer, it is ok when default app of photo viewer is Photos or ACDsee photo,... I just double click a photo and photo will be opened.
But in XYPlorer, it is not ok. When I double click a photo a pop-up window appears "How do you want to openthis file?". I check " Always use this app to open .Jpg/.Png,... files then click "ok" to confirm, photo will be opened. But the problem is that next time when I open any photo in XYplorer I must repeat the same thing.

1) How exactly to you try to open the file? (ENTER, dbl-click, Open With... )

2) Can you open it successfully via context menu?
