For years, I could open a pdf and manually drop individual pages from the pdf into Xyplorer and it would auto increment something like this:
Untitled Extract Pages-04.pdf
Untitled Extract Pages-03.pdf
Untitled Extract Pages-02.pdf
Untitled Extract Pages-01.pdf
Untitled Extract Pages.pdf

But several months ago something changed.
No instead of auto incrementing, it pops up a box that says " Overwrite Existing Item?"
I've attached a screen shot of the pop up.

I've tried a few things I've seen on here but I'm doing something wrong.

Do you have Tools > Configuration > Safety Belts, Network > Confirm drag and drop, and/or Confirm copy and move operations, enabled? If so, does disabling both options help?

I don't have any of those options checked under Safety Belts

I can confirm the behaviour you're seeing. According to the help file:

Any file operations triggered by drag and drop to XYplorer from another application are not spawned to XYcopy.

...which seemingly means no options available, unfortunately.

What happens if you click No on that dialog?

Yes, this has been wished and it seems to be a general standard.

I don't understand why it worked for years and then suddenly stopped. It's one of the major reasons I liked the program.

It will auto increment. But I used to be able to just drag and drop nonstop with no prompt popping up

I will add an option to Configuration | Colors and Styles | Templates | Dropped Messages: "Auto-increment filenames on collision"

Just stumbled upon this fix for allowing auto-increments during drag and drop operations. Very helpful, thanks for adding it.
