2.5 Build 198
PDF-XChange Viewer
I see the "FIRST" PDF right away after a restart of XY but not so after. Is there a recommended version. Seems like they are still on 2.5.xxx release.

The name of the software to go with that version number might be helpful.

I can't confirm this problem with PDF-XChange Viewer
2.5.322.10 on Windows 10 1909 x64. It seems you've installed an older version from 2011?

Had it for a while and did not see any major version number changes so figured..why bother.
Is your PDF X V - 32 or 64 bit?

I'd try the latest version.
AFAICT it's a 32-bit app.

When I try to run the 32-bit MSI it wont take.
So I run the 32/64 combined EXE and get this.

This page lists the free and paid features. If you can manage without the paid features, I'd completely uninstall (including removing settings), reboot and reinstall the latest version.
