Not sure if this is as intended or if a bug or wish...anyway, I was using MDBU and noticed that, while selected file changes by use of up/down arrows and Pg Up/Dn, the MDBU image itself doesn't update...yes, I could use full screen but in this particular case, MDBU seemed to lend itself more to the task...and I just wanted to compare two JPG's briefly (quick swap A vs B vs A, etc)...
Is there a reason why the selection changes but image stays same? Could it be changed to update when movement keys (up/dn/pg up/pg dn) are used?
BTW, since we use the term MDBU so often here, I added it to wiki template.
Bug/Wish? MDBU doesn't upd on up/down arrow?

I did not even imagine that someone would change the selection while holding the mouse down. And you don't even have a mouse!
It's neither a bug nor a feature. It's just the way things are.

While it's true I don't have a mouse, I do have the buttons at my touchpad, so holding left down while using another finger to hit up/down just seemed so natural, given that I've got long fingers...and given that you're changing the selection behind the image, could the image up updated also? I know that now how it is now...but I'm hereby officially requesting it as a wish, ok?admin wrote:I did not even imagine that someone would change the selection while holding the mouse down. Ok, I register the wish. But if you'd see the stack of papers on my desk containing long lists of things to do...j_c_hallgren wrote:While it's true I don't have a mouse, I do have the buttons at my touchpad, so holding left down while using another finger to hit up/down just seemed so natural, given that I've got long fingers...and given that you're changing the selection behind the image, could the image up updated also? Fine...as long as it's in the stack...but it was kind of surprising to have the selection move but image stay so that when I released left button, I was on a totally different file than I did the MDBU on initially.admin wrote:Ok, I register the wish. You hold your finger down. Means: keep the image.j_c_hallgren wrote:Fine...as long as it's in the stack...but it was kind of surprising to have the selection move but image stay so that when I released left button, I was on a totally different file than I did the MDBU on initially.admin wrote:Ok, I register the wish. In this case, it's which finger! As the one (ok, so it's my thumb...whatever!) holding mouse button down says keep the MDBU active, while the one hitting the arrow says move the image selection.admin wrote:You hold your finger down. Means: keep the image.
