Welcome Sixx!!

I wish i could answer that. I initially thought one could open XY starting with desktop by entering XYplorer %desktop% in command-line. But that doesnt seem like it. I assumed so based on this documentation: http://88.191.26.34/XYwiki/index.php/En ... _Variables
Ofcourse the above link has the syntax for searches and not for command-line switch.
I am afraid somebody else has to answer your question.

Thanks for investigating. Might not actually be possible with the current command line parsing, though I hope not.

I've never ever used this command-line feature, but what about the last example in this? Doesn't that imply that "My Documents" would work also, if specified without a drive? As that is what is in INI if it was saved as such.

Update:  Well, it seemed to be a decent idea, but on trying it, I can't get it to work...oh well, I gave it a shot...
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

MyComputer: XYplorer "" (hmm, have I ever mentioned this trick?? -- No, because it's a side effect of something to long to explain...)

The other two... I'll add them. Good point. :)

XYplorer.exe "" works when first launching, but if an instance is already open then I get an error dialog: Couldn't find path ""\.

I'm using 6.80 on Vista in case that matters.

Oh, bug. On XP, too. Fixing...

Fixed. (No mention in change log, because explanation would be longer than fix... :) )
