I am experiencing an annoying trouble when using XYplorer, and I can't find out a workaround to solve it. As I've stated in the subject of the post, when I try to use the Find Files feature, XYplorer will hang when I start typing into the "Name" combobox. The program is in fact caught up by the drwtsn32.exe debugger, and the only way out is killing the process from my process manager. No matter if I use my .ini file or have the program generate a new one, no matter how much I tweak the settings, and no matter I use it in trial mode or entering my license, it keeps happening to me from version 6.20 to the latest one, 6.70. All other features, including all other filters for Find Files, work perfectly (and usefully). I'm currently using that old "free for home use" version 4.40 to perform my file searches, as they work OK there.
I believe that the source of this bad behaviour comes from anywhere in my system that is interfering there and is not a bug from the program itself (as it would be too severe to be still unfixed), therefore it may be difficult for you to explain why it happens, but any hint or indicia that helps me pinpoint the problem would be appreciated.
My system runs under Windows XP SP2 with all its patches up to date.
Whether I am able or not to get some help here, thank you in advance.
