What's the point of having toggles for "To Recycler" and "Wiping Beyond Recovery" in the nuke button?
The button should always perform wipe (which makes "to recycler" irrelevant). The only option should be to toggle the prompt. The options are made farther redundant because there's already a separate Delete button available.
This has the chance of giving users a false of privacy, because based on the state of those options, The button and #1054 might not actually perform a wipe. I might call that command, and press OK on the next prompt thinking being sure that it was for confirming the wipe, while it might only be a regular old "send to recycle bin?".
Since there is already a delete button, the nuke button should do exactly what its name means without exception.

Re: Remove insecure options from Nuke button
Good point.
However, it might be too late. Users that configured the button to a soft version will not be happy about a hard-coded wipe.

Re: Remove insecure options from Nuke button
What you want is a Wipe button. And it already exists!
The Nuke button is just something else. No need to change anything.
