On of the thingh that I would like to improve is the program icon: in the middle of many icon I would like to make it immediately visible and usable. Is it possible to change it?

XY's app icon? Sure, get a resource editor and replace them...

Alternatively you can also edit your XYplorer.ini and set a custom icon if that is what you were trying to ask.

yea but how do we replace the taskbar icon? This only replaces the small icon in the top left corner of the windows title bar for example...

Don't know what the problem is, works fine here...

IconFile=R:\Icons\Audio.ico

It does apply to the taskbar, you just might need to unpin, relaunch, and repin if you previously had it pinned.

Okay, I'll try that. I never had it pinned to taskbar to begin with. I'll give that a shot... and see if it works. I even restarted my PC too and still never seen that in taskbar.

I see icon when I ALT + TAB though! That's good sign!

Something was being wonky and I couldn't figure it out. BUT. This is how I got results:

1. Search for Xyplorer in Start Menu OR open up 2. Right click the XYplorer.lnk shortcut and goto properties
3. Click Change Icon in the Shortcut Tab and manually point it to icon.
4. Click okay for Admin Approval and VOILA!

One step closer to making XYplorer my favorite piece of software...
