The reason to enable it would be simple: I have several files with the same name but different extension which make up a "module". I want to have a copy of this module under different name. I would use "Copy Here As..." and provide a new name like "<new name>.*". The default string shall probably be the name of the focused item.
How does it sound?
Yeah, and what about other handy Copy Here with Suffix commands? I think they deserve to handle multiple files too...
