Lost Catalogue

Post by beethoven »

I have been using XY for about a year and love many of its functions. One of my favourites is the catalogue.

This morning when XY opened, the catalogue had gone. I don't know why, don't think I consciously did anything.
Anyway, I am sure I can rebuild it manually but is there an easier way to recreate the catalogue? Right-clicking does not seem to offer any obvious solutions for this issue.

No idea why it got lost though Shift Delete can play havoc if inadvertently the catalog os highlighted. After you have rebuilt it then it is time to set up a UDC to back up XY to a different location, takes but a second saves thoudands more!

thanks Graham - should not be too much of an issue and actually has a good side to it.
I only now found out that I should upgrade, still running an older version and probably missing out on many goodies. :)

Am I right in assuming that I can install over the existing version?

Yup, you can install over the existing version.
Since you missed some goodies, one nicest goodie is to use "user defined commands" to backup XY folder to another location.
