Drop on Catalog Item with VF

Post by TheQwerty »

Is there any possibility that the catalog could be updated to allow dropping on Catalog items that consist of a path and visual filter destination? (I suppose the same should be asked for items that have a path and quick find.)

I'd just like it to ignore the VF terms and treat it like any other item when I drop from the list.

Is that possible or does it interfere with the ability to have a catalog item that just changes the current VF settings without changing the working directory?

Possible already: catalog context menu / insert new item / current tab location. If the tab is VF-ed, then the VF is added to the catalog.

That what you mean?

No that's not what I mean.

Create a catalog item for location: "."
Create another catalog item for location: ".|*.ini"

Now try to drag an item from the list to each of those items.
You can drop it on "." but you won't be able to drop it on the one with the VF.

I feel they should be treated the same way.

Looks good, and now I can remove a number of duplicate entries! :D

I wonder if this should also be done for quick searches - I don't have any in my catalog but perhaps it would be desired by those who do?
