Could we have an option to make Type Ahead Find persistent (after refresh, accross folders...)?
The Live Filter Box already does this smoothly.

Re: Persistent Type Ahead Find
Assign key shortcuts to these functions:
Miscellaneous | Focus Functions | Previous Type Ahead Match
Miscellaneous | Focus Functions | Next Type Ahead Match
(I have them set to CTRL+ALT+UP/DOWN)
Now if you press those shortcuts, the last type-ahead string is reused in whatever location you are.

Re: Persistent Type Ahead Find
Thanks for the tip, I'm already using these shortcuts.
But I have some use case where my folder is continuously refreshed (because some files are continuously modified / created /deleted) and I'd like to use Type Ahead Find without having to hit this shortcut every second.
