1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

Hover Box (19.40.0100)

Post by xyRolling »

The following two screenshots are shown in the same file.
When the hover box is displayed on the right side of the screen, it is obvious that the hover box cannot be displayed because of insufficient screen space.

@nevertheless : Yeah it works for me, you need this enabled though:

Configuration | Information | File Info Tips | In network locations as well

=====================================================================

@Don: Just to piggy back on this topic, not sure if this would be considered a bug, but something unexpected I noticed with HoverBox on archives if generic icons setting is enabled, then the HoverBox shows the <curpath> icon in the HoverBox of archives when browsing network paths.

ie. instead of zip icon in HoverBox popup, I get the current folders icon shown, including CFI icon if the current path has one set, it only happens on archives of network drives with generic icons enabled.

edit: the <curpath> CFI folder icon seems to only be shown in the HoverBox popup if you use the /r CFI flag, otherwise you just get the base folder icon.

Sure a bug (and a real stupid one). Fix on the way...
