Xyplorer has terrible auto scaling ability to fit different DPI while using multiple screens in windows 10. :naughty:
one work around is to set "override scaling" in compatibility setting of xyplorer.

When you set 'override scaling (enhanced)", xyplorer looks great.
but any powerpoint/excel application will inherent the same setting as xyplorer, which led to a crazy disaster:
powerpoint/excel will only shows you a little part of the content in high resolution screen(wrong scaling).

in this case i had to switch to other file explorer tools.

at this moment, i dont know whom to blame, windows?(1809), office? (2016), or Xyplorer. :roll:

Hi,

In the next beta there will be a tweak to suppress auto-scaling:

Code: Select all

NoAutoScaling=1
How to tweak: https://www.xyplorer.com/faq-topic.php?id=tweak

Let me know how this works for you. If it works out well I will raise it to the configuration dialog.

I have downloaded this latest beta version and twerk the setting.
v19.20.0017 - 2018-10-08 15:41

while the office shows correctly but xyplorer will appear too small in high DPI screen. this does not resolve the problem.
so i guess can only wait untile xyploer has auto scaling with DPI sensitive, or office has update with a fix.

Well, XY has DPI-sensitive auto-scaling, but not real time when crossing screen boundaries, only on startup.
