help with my first script

Hi.

I am trying to create a toolbar button which executes the Edit > Select > Selection Stats on the currently selected folder. I have the button, but I haven't figured out the script. I have assigned keyboard shortcut Shift+P to Selection Stats if that helps.

Any advice on how to accomplish this would be appreciated.
