Clean Custom Copy Log Folder After X Days or X Count

Post by Dustydog »

Whatever you think most appropriate.

Just noticed I had over 12K in mine. I don't want to have to keep track of that just to delete them every now and then. Somebody might want to GREP them to see where they put something, but I don't.

A suggestion in the meantime if you are interested, you could either disable logging altogether (my personal preference), or change your XY startup shortcut to include a startup script something like this:

Code: Select all

	delete 1, 1, quicksearch("CustomCopy_*.txt AND ageC: > 1 m /f", "<xydata>\Log", "|");
I have included the delete confirmation flags in the above example, but you would probably want it to be silent so you could adjust that.
