Version updates of XYplorer removes some Links

Has anyone else noticed that when you do an update to XYplorer, some of your Links are gone? I have Links to Music, Pictures, Downloads, Desktop, etc. But after I do an update, I typically lose a couple of the Links. Usually Music, Pictures and Videos, but it varies.

No I have never experienced this or heard of it before, when you say they are missing, where are they missing from? are you talking about normal lnk files?

Yes, I am referring to regular .lnk files. They become missing from under 'Links' in the Tree. I usually have to drag the couple that come up missing back to 'Links' to put them back. But it doesn't happen to all of the .lnk files, just a few.

Very strange, As a long shot I'd suggest if it happens again that you copy the links back using Explorer instead, and try making them read only, or manually create new links, I am not hopeful of it helping but you never know, its up to you if you want to try.
If you update XY without restarting and then load your Links folder in Explorer, you are saying they are visible, and then if you load XY they disappear?

I haven't been loading the links into Explorer, I've been creating the links in XYplorer by dragging them to under the 'Links' tree node.

I will be sure to try your suggestion the next time it happens. May take a little while to test that. Thank you.

Jupe, just wanted to give you an update. I noticed the other day a couple links were removed and it happened right after a Windows Update. So now I believe that it is a Windows issue. Sorry for the confusion, but I'm glad to know that it isn't XYplorer. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
