Desktop folder or pane long to appear or refresh

Hi,
I'm running XY 18.60 (under Windows 7 64 bits Pro) but my problem is not new (I noticed it with previous versions of XY as well) :
When I open or refresh my Desktop folder, it takes about 8 seconds.
I could not reproduce this problem, even with much bigger folders.
For your information, my Desktop folder is containing 44 items, so it's not huge.
Any idea or suggestion please ?

Might be caused by anti-virus. Try to exclude XYplorer.exe from your anti-virus.
