How to --really-- lock tabs?

so I have locked a few tabs on XYplorer. But I can still close these locked tabs (perhaps by intent or accident). And when closing/reopening the app, the locked tabs didn't come back.

Without resorting to scripting, I want to restore locked tabs (only locked tabs if possible) during startup.

Is this possible? If yes, how? If I have to resort to scripting, how can it be done?

Configuration > Tabs and Panes > Tabs > Prompt on closing a locked tab -- is this checked?
