update 5: pls. consider original command-line when restarting

I am launching XY with a cmd-line in which I used "/ini" to specify an alternate dir for the settings. It would be nice if the internal update-mechanism would consider this setting and also apply when restarting XY after an update - currently XY comes up as unregistered and I then need to exit & start again...
