Accessing local NAS takes a while

When I use Microsoft Explorer to access my local Synology NAS UNC's it takes roughly 1 second or less to populate.
It shows enumerating network on the bottom bar for almost 10 seconds before it populates in XY.

This may sound picky ( or impatient ) but is there a way I can speed up the enumeration in XY?

"Assume servers exist" is one of the settings that comes to mind.

And also this: "enumerating network" is not an XY status message, but it's "enumerating servers". You can skip this by ticking Configuration | Controls and More | Network | Cache network servers. See Help for details...
